About the Role
What You’ll Own
This isn’t a “support” role. You’ll be trusted with real responsibility and creative freedom to test ideas, shape campaigns, and grow with us. This is a high-impact, creative role with room to experiment and lead.
Core Responsibilities:
Social Media Marketing:
Plan and run weekly content calendars on LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter
Design and publish posts, reels, carousels, stories, polls
Respond to comments and engage in relevant communities
Content Creation:
Write compelling copy for blogs, posts, web pages, newsletters, and marketing emails
Turn complex cybersecurity topics into bite-sized, relatable content
Work with Canva/Figma to design visually appealing graphics
STP & Brand Positioning:
Research markets, competitors, and buyer personas
Support Segmentation-Targeting-Positioning (STP) efforts and brand voice development
Assist in crafting brand messaging frameworks and tone-of-voice guides
Campaign Execution:
Launch, track, and improve social/digital marketing campaigns
Collaborate with team members and freelancers to bring ideas to life
Propose and pilot original creative campaigns or content formats
Analytics & Reporting:
Track KPIs (reach, engagement, leads, conversions)
Build dashboards
Share weekly insights with the founding team
Event Support:
Help plan booth creatives or webinar logistics
Employee Advocacy:
Train team members to share Cybervahak content on personal LinkedIn timelines

Requirements

We don’t need degrees - we need creators, storytellers, and executors. You could be a student, gap-year explorer, or career switcher. If you're passionate and ready to learn fast, you're welcome.

A self-starter who enjoys owning tasks end-to-end
Creative with a flair for storytelling: in text, visuals, or video
Curious about cybersecurity, startups, and what makes brands tick
Comfortable working async and meeting deadlines in a remote setting

You love creating – words, designs, stories, or strategies
You’re curious – about cybersecurity, startups, and tech-driven storytelling

Can communicate ideas clearly and concisely
Qualifications & Work Experience
Education: Final-year Bachelor’s or Master’s in Marketing, Mass Comm, or related field (Indicative only)
Experience:
0-2 years in social media or content marketing (college projects ok)
Portfolio of at least 3 creative assets (posts, blogs, reels, etc.)
Tool Proficiency: Canva, Google Analytics, Excel/Sheets, Photoshop, LinkedIn, Instagram, video editing tools, marketing automation platforms
Nice-to-Have: Familiarity with B2B tech or cybersecurity concepts, SEO basics (keyword research, on-page optimisation)
Skills & Experience:
Prior experience with social media, digital content, or branding is a plus - but not mandatory
Good with Canva, Google Sheets, Instagram, LinkedIn, and video editing tools
Bonus if you’ve dabbled in: basic SEO, Figma, HubSpot, or short-form video editing
Strong written communication and creative thinking
Visual storytelling ability
Analytical mindset – comfortable turning metrics into actions
Eye for design consistency and brand voice
Agility and ownership – can juggle multiple deadlines independently
Collaborative attitude – works smoothly with founders, SMEs, and designers
Curiosity about cybersecurity trends and buyer pain points

We help SMBs, regulated industries, and scaling startups with end-to-end cybersecurity from audits, SOC, and vCISO services to our very own Integrated Cybersecurity Solution (ICS) for risk, compliance, and asset management.
